Mr. Mayne is the Chief Administrative Officer of SDS Capital Group where he plays a central role in planning and implementing the corporate growth of SDS. In his capacity as CAO, he undertakes a range of activities. He works closely with the CFO on the budgeting and financial projections of SDS, financial planning of the organization, and assisting with new hires and staffing. Mr. Mayne plays a central and strategic role in the planning and corporate growth of SDS and its affiliates. Mr. Mayne is also involved in supporting SDS’s NMTC activities, relative to applications to the U.S. Department of Treasury as well as periodically closing transactions. Mr. Mayne is responsible for SDS maintaining a Registered Investment Advisor for SDS’s real estate fund activities. In his role as the CAO and Chief Compliance Officer for SDS Real Estate Advisors, Mr. Mayne ensures that all registrations and compliance activities are undertaken as required. Specifically, he reviews each investment made by SDS’s real estate funds to confirm ‘suitability’ relative to the respective fund’s investment strategy noted in the limited partnership agreement. Mr. Mayne has been with SDS since 2007. He formerly served as President and Chief Investment Officer of Roll and Ross Asset Management where he managed up to $475M in public equities for a variety of domestic and international benchmarks including large cap, growth, and value. He has extensive experience performing financial research to incorporate into investment strategies. He also oversaw development of the firm’s quantitative strategies relating to innovations and customization for specific client’s needs and the development of performance attribution analysis.
